work files
At first, my idea was to focus more on the design of the crowns. But after discovering that the delivered files needed editing themselfs. I decided to learn this instead.

To edit them I imported them in Fusion 360. and worked in their Beta mesh workspace. after some research and videos, of how to edit mesh. I can say at least for myself. that it is pretty easy to use.
To start editing I first needed to reduce the mesh. as it was far too detailed and thus too heavy to do anything on it.

After that I needed to make the scan a solid, which is done with one press on make a closed mesh. This is done with the 'make a closed mesh' tool.

the pins and my brace brackets needed to go, so when i would put in the crowns it'll be a more clear end result. This is done with the 'erase and fill' tool.

Just so you know. working in mesh doesn't allow you to also have your timeline on, witch can be bothering.
In real life, my implants are threaded in place, so I needed to put in threading in to the mesh.

To achieve this, you need to convert the mesh back to a solid. and then work in this way to heavy file as a solid.

Now you can work with your timeline back on.
The crowns were made in the form workspace. It is comparable with the mesh workspace, but still way different.

First I made a block and from there i formed that block into the crown it is now.

To make a form look like a tooth is harder than i expected. Because it also needs to work with the rest of the teeth and the gum.

In the render files page you can see the end results!
